The purpose of this communication is to inform school systems of data now available to assist school leaders with internal evaluation of academic performance. District and campus data reports are now available to school system leaders in TEAL (Â鶹ÊÓƵ Login) today. Additional state-level and region data reports will be made publicly available for school systems to use on November 16, 2023.ÌýÌý

District & Campus Accountability Data Available in TEAL

The 2023 Accountability Reports and Data Tables and the 2023 Accountability Data Downloads are now available in TEAL. The data does not include scale scores orÌý´¡â€“FÌýratings. It only includes raw scores of the underlying indicators from students in the accountability subset. The 2023 STAAR, Growth, AEA Retest Growth, and EL Student Listings are also available in TEAL. The data is based on the methodology in the final rule adopting theÌý2023 Accountability Manual,Ìýposted on October 31, 2023.Ìý

As noted previously, the issuance of 2023Ìý´¡â€“FÌýratings under this final rule is pending and subject to change based on judicial rulings or decisions from the 88th Legislature during a special called session. This communication is solely focused on district and campus data reports made available to school systems in TEAL without scale scores or ratings.Ìý

State & Region Underlying Accountability Data Reports to Be PublishedÌý

On November 16, 2023, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ (TEA) will publicly release region and state-level raw data reports derived from the accountability subset and statewide accountability summary slides on theÌý2023 Accountability SystemÌýwebpage to provide school systems additional information to support internal evaluation of campus and district academic performance. This release will include the region and state-wide results but will not include scale scores orÌý´¡â€“FÌýratings. The issuance ofÌýA-FÌýratings, originally scheduled to be released on November 16th, are pending and subject to change based on judicial rulings or decisions from the 88th Legislature during a special called session.Ìý Ìý

Federal Reports to be ReleasedÌý

As communicated previously, on November 16, 2023, TEA will release the confidential (unmasked)ÌýResults-Driven Accountability (RDA)Ìýdistrict report, data download, and Special Education (SPED) Significant Disproportionality (SD) indicators district reports to school systems in TEAL, and theÌýSchool Improvement (SI)Ìýfederal identification list to the public on theÌý2023 Accountability SystemÌýwebpage in order to comply with federal mandates. Additional TAAs will be sent on November 16th to provide next steps related to RDA and federal SI reporting.Ìý
